Vol XI - NEW YORK EVENT

After an intense month of March I come back to our blog with exiting news to share; this particular post is dedicated to our last event.
On Wednesday, March 25th the Professional BlackBook Network co-hosted the Pre-Launching Event of SOHO DESIGN MAGAZINE, a new publication scheduled to launch its first issue on Fall 2009 featuring the best in design, art, fashion and dining focusing on the district of Soho in Manhattan, NY.

I had the pleasure to work with a fantastic team of partners for the party, where great synergies were created and the results were beyond our expectations. John White (Publisher of Soho Design Magazine) had been in touch with the founder of SohoNYC.com Jaime Gutierrez, a website dedicated to show the best Soho has to offer including listings of restaurants, shops, art galleries and much more, he told us he had the perfect venue to host the affair so we followed his lead. He introduced us to Delicatessen, a hip restaurant and lounge located in the heart of Manhattan right on the corner of Lafayette and Prince St.

After a few weeks of planning and preparations, I flew to New York the day of the event to finally meet Jaime and Brandi, the VIP Director of Delicatessen. The event was phenomenal, we got a great turn out of locals who enjoyed the cozy yet energetic settings of Delicatessen lounge, which soon got packed and guests had to be invited to join the bar at the restaurant. Gift bags were given away from a limo parked right outside the party, courtesy of Best Limo NYC.
I was happy to meet some of our NYC members for the first time, and see some familiar faces again. Unfortunatelly Beth wasn't able to attend as she was enjoying time with her parents in sunny Miami, and I missed her as we always do a good team hosting events together, greeting guests, etc. Jaime, Brandi and John were the perfect partners for this event and we are grateful that they invited us to be part of it.

The photographer of Manhattan Society had plenty of socializing and mingling guests to work with, check out the pictures of the event HERE.

See you all soon, and I look forward to receiving your comments and feedback.
Cheers!
Marcelo
